Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card and debit card payments. The cards we accept are Visa credit and debit, Mastercard, Solo and Maestro/Switch.
When you confirm your intention to buy you will be directed to our Payment Provider who are SECPay/Paypoint.net. Through their secure online server, you will be asked to supply your credit or debit card information. As we use Verified by VISA and MASTERCARD Securecode on our E-commerce website you will also be asked to confirm through your own card issuer that you are the cardholder, by being asked to enter passwords that you have already set up with your bank.
If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone on 01283 510570, by fax on 01283 536188 or by post.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
We only accept orders for delivery to a UK Mainland address. There is a flat delivery charge of £15 + VAT regardless of how many or how few items you purchase.

Delivery Schedule
Please remember that if goods are required urgently, then the sooner you can place an order, the more likely it will be that the goods will be received by you on time. As a guide, try to determine the delivery to be 48 hours before the goods are needed. That way, if the courier does let us down, we have at least sometime to play with to sort out replacements or re-delivery.
We will endeavour to deliver your goods as soon as possible and will try to meet any delivery instructions that you give us. Orders are normally fulfilled and despatched to arrive with you, the customer, within three working days.
We will make every effort to deliver your goods within the time period agreed, but as we do not deliver ourselves, we are in the hands of our couriers and as such, outside circumstances are beyond our control. As a result we will not be held liable for any loss incured by you for late or non-delivery of goods ordered.
If you refuse a delivery without prior consent from us, you will be liable for the return delivery costs. Likewise, if we have arranged a delivery date with you when you place your order and subsequently no-one is available at the delivery address when the delivery is attempted, then the goods will be taken back to the depot. We then reserve the right to impose a re-delivery charge before delivery is made again.
When the goods arrive please:
Check that what you are signing for is what you are given. i.e that you have the same number of parcels as stated on the delivery note, as given to you by the delivery driver. If you have signed for all of the goods and then find that you are short on items, we will not be liable to incur the costs of replacing the missing goods.
If any of the goods are damaged in any way, including packaging as well as products, please ensure that this is clearly indicated when signing for the goods.
Please check your delivery immediately. If you should find any items missing or damaged or incorrectly sent, and you have noted this on the delivery drivers information, then please call us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Alternatively, if you do not receive your goods within the stated time frame, please contact us and we will contact the couriers on your behalf to determine where the goods are and their estimated time of arrival.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. Alternatively, if you give delivery instructions that state that goods can be left in a certain place, the onus is then on you for their welfare once the driver has left them.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed or phoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK after December 31st 2009, 17.5% VAT is added.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. You, the customer are our priority and we will always do our best to ensure that your expectations are met. As with everything in life, ocassionally things go wrong, but you can be assured we will always do our best to exhaust every avenue until we can fulfill your requirements successfully.
Most of our products have a 12 month manufacturer's defect warranty, but each product should specify the guarantee period.

Nicoll Industries Limited do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to: a. Take and fulfil customer orders. b. Administer and enhance the site and service. c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a refund of the goods less the original carriage costs. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty.
Any goods returned should be in the same condition that they left us. i.e unused and in the original packaging. We reserve the right to levy a 30% re-stocking charge to cover re-packaging costs if packaging is damaged.
If goods are returned to us in a poor condition, determined by us, then it will be at our discretion as to whether we accept the goods for return and if a refund is appropriate.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
